Come play, hack and make games with us!

Do you like games? Do you like making things? Then come design some games with some of the best game design educators in New York City! In this art and graphic design themed game jam, design your own characters in Scratch or in classic arcade games, hack signs around you in a real world game, or design an outer space level using the Ethers graphics! We'll introduce you to the principles of good game design, and then give you time to create your own game with the help of our expert staff.

Light snacks will be provided. Parents are encouraged to attend the last 30 minutes (7-7:30) to see a showcase of games made that day. This event is funded by the Hive Digital Media Learning Fund at the New York Community Trust. Organizations present at this game jam include Museum of the Moving Image, Mouse, Iridescent, and Groundswell.
