Mouse is thrilled to introduce it's brand new Specialist Certification: Garage Robotics! Garage Robotics (GR) is the first in a series of "Specialist Certifications," or extended certification opportunities for experienced Squad members as an extension of the Mouse Squad Help Desk Certification. This year, we're thrilled to offer GR to the Global Mouse Network for Squads seeking "next level" content to grow students' interest, enthusiasm, and skill.

Here's how it works: any active Squad Member can participate in Specialist Certification. It's up to their Coordinator to oversee Specialist Certification, but unlike your Mouse Squad Help Desk Certification, Specialist curriculum is self-paced and can be accomplished individually, or in small groups. Specialists must complete all quizzes or "Check Yourself!" questions, and post answers to all BlogIt! reflections in order to complete certification. In addition, every Specialist must complete a final project, that is presented to their Squad and approved by their Coordinator. Final projects, images, designs, and all accompanying materials related to final project activities must also be uploaded as the last step of the final activity.

Once completed, Mouse Squad Members will receive the official Garage Robotics Wins! in their MouseSquad.org profile.
