Coordinators: Summer PD Offering from Friends @ Foundation for Computer Science, NYC
Scalable Game Design is a platform that effectively leads students from creating games to programming advanced simulations.
Teachers and Tech Coordinators joining this CSNYC PD will gain skills teaching computer science through research-tested, highly engaging and motivating curricula and activities that serve as a great complement to your school's Mouse Membership.
This is a great way to learn platforms and practices to help your students learn computational thinking, develop problem solving literacy, and learn to program by designing and creating video games and complex simulations that require sophisticated Artificial Intelligence. This training is great for Mouse Coordinators but applications are open to all educators.
The the training is appropriate for educators working with grades 5 to 8.
Space is limited - applications from Mouse Sites due May 20th.
